It has now been 4 years since Webmecanik offers its version of marketing automation based on mautic open source for TPEs, SMEs, mid-sized enterprises (ETIs), large groups, and Startups. To be precise, it dates back to the 1.1.2 version (2.15.1 to date) of mautic, released on June 9, 2015.
This history allows us to state that today we are the biggest mautic specialist in France, and even in Europe. A source of pride for the Webmecanik team, built on several pillars—pillars without which it would seem inappropriate to claim our expertise.

As explained in the introduction, we became interested in this open-source project back in 2015, from its very beginning. In addition, we had a few years of partnership with an American vendor that enabled us to distribute its solution exclusively until our investment in open source. That is about a decade of expertise in the marketing automation world.

This history is very important to us.
Indeed, it allows us to have a very clear view of the direction the open-source project is taking, to know all its players, to be recognized as an actor, and to master every corner of the application. That last point opens up endless prospects for evolution and integrations.
Managing Mautic at scale
Deploying more than 500 instances has allowed us to industrialize our processes in order to provide our customers with a high-quality service (100% SLA over the last 3 months).

Haha… This is a big topic that I particularly care about. I’ve had the chance to address it several times. Indeed, open source is a concept, a philosophy. Everything is based on a community, and that word is very important. Webmecanik benefits from this community, but to call yourself an expert in an open-source community, you have to be one of its actors—we’re talking about contributors. And on this point, we have nothing to be ashamed of. Quite the opposite! Today we are the 2nd-largest contributor worldwide to this project, along with mautic inc. themselves. This involves several aspects:

And beyond the product itself, the community is also about managing/administrating/animating an international team (±100 contributors/developers, +30,000 users).
