Webmecanik was present at the digital week in Quebec from April 4 to 9, 2016
The Web world made headlines this month!
Cited as the biggest event dedicated to digital technology in North America, Web in Quebec brought together more than 350 passionate French players who mixed with the Quebec ecosystem.
Between parallel meetings to the event, BtoB meetings carefully qualified by Opportunities Digitales and the Web in Quebec, the week was intense!
Conferences, networking and territorial rapprochements
The Web in Quebec started off very strong, between conferences, visits to local companies, banquets and various interventions, not a minute of boredom!
350 French digital players and no fewer than 1000 participants present; the opportunity to bring together Web or video game content creators, suppliers and entrepreneurs seeking digital solutions, researchers, institutions and citizens touched by digital.
On my side, I was able to generate about thirty meetings and opportunities both with French companies (yes we had to go to Canada!) and with Quebec companies.
Moreover, we have forged real ties in our Savoyard delegation, an opportunity to energize our region.
A well-filled head to return home
Thanks to the numerous quality conferences and workshops, I was able to enrich my range of best practices and new trends. Some international heavyweights were present and here are a few talks that struck me:
- The 6 marketing tactics to use in 2016
- Conference: Make your data fruitful in the omni-channel commerce era by Raff Paquin
- Conference: How I attracted 1,300,000 unique visitors to my site in less than 24 hours by Alexi Roy
- The future of web marketing by Larry Kim.
To enrich our training and our advice, that’s the Webmecanik spirit, ongoing training with the world’s best speakers from Annecy to Montreal.
Will Webmecanik expand to Quebec?
To be continued… opportunities have been launched and implementation facilitated; it is not impossible that we establish a first foothold in North America within the year.
Thus named Webmecanik, I thank all the organizers, voluntary members and OFQJ for this perfectly run organization.
