Press Release: Eureos changes its name and raises €500K

Annecy, November 17, 2015:

Eureos, the Annecy-based small business specializing in web marketing solutions, is becoming Webmecanik and is completing its transition toward publishing Marketing Automation software. To accelerate its development and growth, it has finalized financing of 500,000 euros (300,000 euros in equity investment and 200,000 euros in additional loans).

Eureos is becoming Webmecanik and is adopting the name of its Marketing Automation solution, software developed on shared open-source code. “This name change marks our entry into a fast-growing global community that already includes more than 100 developers,” says Stéphane Couleaud, the company’s CEO. The small business, which had been providing web marketing services, is now focusing on its core business as a software publisher in the Marketing Automation market. A decision in line with the economic environment: “In the age of uberization, new intermediaries are moving into every type of business and placing themselves between the brand and the consumer; TripAdvisor in the hotel industry is a prime example. The consequence is that businesses give up a large part of their margin and no longer control their customer relationship.” This market paradigm shift, combined with strong experience in improving customer relationships through the web… was more than enough for the entrepreneur and his team to seize the opportunity. By developing an ecosystem of solutions around Marketing Automation, the company enables manufacturers to regain control of their customer relationship by offering a personalized and unique purchasing experience to each visitor.

Oracle, SalesForce, Adobe… The largest software publishers have understood the power of Marketing Automation; they are investing colossal sums in it. In response, Webmecanik is banking on the closeness and personalized support of its agency partners to promote its solutions. “Marketing Automation is a wonderful tool for nurturing the customer relationship. But it is only a tool! The intelligence lies in the expertise of our partners: scenarios and content, as well as brand strategy,” says Stéphane Couleaud. That is why the company markets its solution to agencies: “Our solutions support their work and their strategy. Together, we enable them to achieve their business goals for acquisition and retention.”. More than 15 agencies, including Net Design, Indexel, Aressy, and M&C Saatchi are already among its partners. Thanks to them, Webmecanik works for both tourism SMEs such as Deep Nature and international companies such as Renault.

 
 

€500K IN FUNDING
funds intended for recruitment, software development, and commercial growth

To accelerate the development of its software and support its partners throughout Europe, Webmecanik has just secured 300,000 euros from investment funds and business angels, including Alpes Léman Transition, Haute-Savoie Demain, and Savoie Mont Blanc Angels. Bpifrance also supported Webmecanik with 200,000 euros. “This financing allows us to gain 12 months by strengthening our teams through the hiring of developers. Already present in France and Switzerland, we are also strengthening the sales team to support our partners internationally, particularly in England and Germany in 2016,” explains Stéphane Couleaud.
