Meet us during Digital Week in Quebec
How it all started
As a member of the dynamic Digital Savoie association (which goes to show that we are not sticklers for borders), Webmecanik was given the pleasant mission of discovering the Quebec market and businesses during Digital Week.
This event is organized by the Office Franco-Québécoise pour la Jeunesse and will take place from April 4 to 9, 2016 in Montreal and Quebec City.
This was followed by all the paperwork requirements, an up-to-date passport, and a visa that is now mandatory… Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin groups started to appear to bring together the community of more than 200 French-speaking companies ready to experience the Quebec adventure.
Yes, we are the only company from Annecy
I am part of the Chambéry delegation initiated by Digital Savoie in partnership with the city of Chambéry. I can assure you that I will bring reblochons to celebrate the reunification of the two Savoys!
Several packages were offered to meet everyone’s objectives, ours being to validate the potential of the marketing automation market in Quebec.
- A first day in Montreal between business meetings and round tables on expanding to Quebec.
- This will be followed by two days at the “Digital Opportunities” business convention, dedicated to B2B meetings between digital industry players.
- Then, Web à Québec will extend the week with 3 days dedicated to web enthusiasts, with conferences and workshops.
- And no fewer than 10 meetings are already waiting for me.
The best-shod shoemakers
Alongside all this organization, we also combined a targeted marketing automation campaign, requests via Linkedin, and the activation of our network because we all have a friend in Quebec!
Cherry on the poutine
The OFQJ and the city of Chambéry selected us to benefit from a grant, much to our delight.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the parties making this digital week possible: the OFQJ and Astrid Laye, Digital Savoie with Céline Cote and Gilles Camus, the city of Chambéry with Samuel Caillault, Ghislain Décréau and his deputy mayors Aloïs Chassot and Nathalie Colin-Cocchi, Quebec Numérique and Pierre-Luc Lachance.
I would also like to thank the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the event’s sponsor Axelle Lemaire, Web à Québec and Marc-André Beauchamp, Quebec City, Mayor Régis Labeaume, and all the other people…. Here we go for the Sales North America experience, and I am now ready to face the forecast -20°C, enjoy the sugar shacks, and proudly carry Webmecanik’s values in the footsteps of Jacques Cartier.
