Event #AutomationDay @ Paris
Last March 31, more than 50 digital marketing specialists braved the general strike and the rain to gather for an event by Webmecanik: #AutomationDay!
The goal was to bring agencies together around the theme of “Marketing Automation”. Seasoned users, recent buyers, and the highly curious were able to exchange ideas on inbound marketing best practices.
No more com-petition, hello co-opetition
There were no injuries or missing persons to report… Quite the opposite! Bringing partners together helped enrich our perspectives. The discussions were structured around 5 highlights:
- The “so-serious” Webmecanik keynote hosted by Stéphane and Pierre. “Marketing automation is not intelligent, it is functional. It is agencies – at the heart of our organization chart – that bring it to life thanks to content and their advice on brand strategies”
- Stimulating business cases. Our partners were given the floor to talk about concrete cases: figures and feedback from daily use of the Automation solution. They applied it to the tourism sector, automotive, B2B… find them online!
- The discussions really heated up during the committed round tables. Quotes, graphs, proof and evidence were collected to jointly publish the first white paper co-written with our partners. Web-to-store, the jobs of tomorrow, and Automation in the age of connected devices made headlines! It was a bit like our own “Nuit Debout”: collaborative and engaged!
- A short-film production running in the background: you will find testimonials on our YouTube channel. Like an interlude in the event, the time to step into the spotlight of Alban Nieroz. Content production, always, again…
- Tasting and relaxation time : After this busy day, we announced the results of the Twitter contest and prepared a table laden with fine products from the Alpine terroir. You discovered our specialties, including wild garlic, which was greatly appreciated! It’s an herb like any other.
The recipe for creating a #AutomationDay
- A good fifty brilliant people
- 5 perfectly crafted business cases
- 1 suitable mold, places conducive to conversation with foosball and a photo studio like the Marketing Space at the 1min30 agency
- A pleasant atmosphere with some nice music provided by Playlist4me, creator of musical atmospheres, whom we had met and listened to at web2business
- Let it all marinate for 1 day and 1 evening
- Turn it out with rock-solid organization and you will get an ultra-friendly moment of exchange served with a coulis of innovative ideas.
