Automation campaigns allow you to do this, but it implies creating a scenario. Some emails do not necessarily require a scenario; this can be the case, for example, for sending a newsletter.
To do this, it is possible to configure a send date for a segment email.
Tutorial – Setup in Automation
First of all, you need to create the segment for which the email will be sent. Please refer to our article on creating a segment.
Once the segment has been created, go to the emails section by clicking on “channels” then “emails”. Click on new to create a new email and choose segment email.
Fill in the required fields in the right-hand section of the email, namely the name, the subject, and the segment to be filled in.
Create your email by choosing a theme, then go to the builder to create it. Once the email has been created, go back to the first part of the editing screen and, in the right-hand section of the email, click YES to publish it.
Also choose a publication date; this is the date on which the email will be sent.
Be sure to click YES to publish the email; otherwise, it will not be sent on the specified date.
Do not forget to indicate an unpublish date; otherwise, each time a new contact enters the segment, they will receive the email.
If, for example, you send a newsletter and do not indicate an unpublish date, a contact who enters the segment the following month would receive the previous month’s newsletter.
