Contents of the Automation Update for August 2016

I am writing today to let you know the updates that will be implemented to your Automation accounts from today through to Monday. This will include one new feature (don’t worry, more are coming soon!).

We have been working hard on software stability for the past two weeks, ensuring many bugs are fixed and the infrastructure is efficient.

I understand you’re eager for more! Our next update is going to concentrate more on new features, sexier than the last, and keep in mind performance optimisation.

List of functionalities

GoToWebinar (Citrix) Integration

You can now connect your GoToWebinar account with your Automation account. You will be able to record those who register for your webinars on Automation web forms, automate reminders before webinars (via GoToWebinar), and integrate information with Automation for future relaunches (for those who attended, were absent etc.). Webinars are finally automated!

Replacement of tracking pixel by tracking script

We recommend that you begin replacing the Automation tracking pixel on your websites with the following tracking script. This performs better and ultimately delivers a better experience to site visitors.

Replace mydomainname in the script with the domain associated with your marketing automation account.

[Contacts] Error displaying the connection map of a contact
[Emails] [Landing pages] When saving email and landing pages, content disappeared
[Campaigns] Corrects scenario where an action was not registered to a non-action
[Contacts] Display correction when creating a custom field
[Landing pages] Error when the page contained a Facebook share button
[Segments] Filters did not work for the “unsubscribed” and “email bounced” fields
[Contacts] Error modifying a contact when the “core” fields have been deactivated
[Contacts] Impossible to delete a “do not contact” tag on a contact
[Contacts] Changing the type of contact field was not possible after already being added
[Contacts] Added French Overseas Territories to the list of countries
Fixed error where password reset was empty
