Choosing your inbound marketing training

Choosing your inbound marketing training can prove difficult. The field is constantly evolving

Inbound marketing is the future (and the present too)

Inbound Marketing generates 54% more leads than outbound marketing! But what is it? Come on, let’s define inbound marketing: It is a strategy that consists of bringing the customer to you rather than going out to find them. More specifically, it means working on your SEO through various rich content, and managing your leads. Am I speaking Chinese? Then it’s time to get trained!

Inbound marketing training: what content?

SEO, content creation, website management, paid ads on social media or on Google, marketing automation: these are all the topics grouped under inbound marketing. To choose your training well, it is therefore important to think carefully about your responsibilities, your goals and your knowledge, in order to choose the ideal training.
For example, if you have been writing articles for a long time, but you do not manage publication on the site or the leads afterward, SEO training may be the most beneficial. If, on the other hand, you handle lead management on your website, marketing automation training is certainly the right direction.

A suitable format

To choose your inbound marketing training, you also need to understand the format that suits you best. It is not always easy to get back into a school rhythm: staying seated and focused for 7 hours is not always the right solution. In fact, we know that an adult can only remain truly attentive to a task for 90 minutes, and ideally even just 75. In addition, traveling for several days requires putting your other tasks on hold, which is not always possible.

Today, online training courses make it possible to gain flexibility and freedom. You work at your own pace, for more effective learning. However, I invite you to pay attention to the availability of trainers. Online training, yes, but with human interaction, and why not a few hours in person and by video. This way, the training will be adapted to your needs and your level, you will be able to ask your questions and the benefits will be significantly improved.

A certification

Training takes time, requires commitment and work. To get the most out of it, a certification course is a good idea! It is proof that the training was designed so that you leave with solid skills. That’s good motivation.

Moreover, to check the quality of a training course, you can look to see whether it is certified by Datadock or Qualiopi, for example. Datadock is a database that allows the sharing of information about training organizations. This makes it possible to sort training organizations from a quality perspective.

Qualiopi is also a state quality certification, mandatory from January 2022. It includes 7 quality criteria determined by 32 assessment indicators.

This allows you to finance your training with your OPCO credits, but also to ensure high-quality training!

Continuous training for inbound marketing?

One-off training is good. But in a sector that moves so quickly, there is a good chance that your new knowledge will quickly become obsolete. Fortunately, there are websites, updated very frequently, for continuous training. This way, you can train in several areas and stay informed about new developments.
