Choose where to host your data!

When you open a Webmecanik Automation account, you can freely choose the physical deployment location (France, Switzerland, United States, Australia). At that time, we prepare a dedicated environment.

This allows us to ensure that your data is indeed in the country you have chosen and that accounts are properly isolated. Managing your data is a critical issue for you; what is critical for you is essential for us.

The security of personal data

Evolution of the legal context in the United States and Europe

In recent years, with the rise of terrorism, many freedom-restricting laws have been passed around the world. We can mention first and foremost the “Patriot Act” and “Safe Harbor” in the United States, which give the American government unlimited access to data processed on American soil and to data managed by American companies even if that data is hosted outside American territory.

Recent French laws such as the LPM (Military Programming Law) establish a right of access for French intelligence services to data transiting through the national Internet network and to data leaving DataCentres.

We treat your users’ data as if it were our own. To do this, we offer hosting for all of your customers’ data (application and database) in the best DataCentres in Europe on our own virtualized and redundant infrastructures.

You can now choose to host your data:

• In France, Tier IV DataCentre
• In Switzerland with Exoscale in a DataCentre located in Lausanne

We are currently working on hosting in Germany, the United Kingdom, and in other countries on request. Contact us to discuss it.

It is even possible to have an OnPremise version where we would install your Marketing Automation software directly on your technical infrastructure. You maintain the infrastructure, and we maintain the operating system (Debian in its latest stable version) and the Webmecanik Automation instance for you.
