By using tools every day, we sometimes end up forgetting that what seems obvious to us is not necessarily obvious to those discovering the web and its wonderful world.
Thus, yesterday I was presenting Plone to a dynamic business group that wants to equip itself with a tool to showcase its members. The objective of the meeting was mainly to discuss the group’s functional needs, but I took the opportunity to show a few Plone screencasts.
And the effect is always the same when you get to publishing a file with Plone:
- One click to log in
- One click to go to the right section of the site
- One click to attach a file
- One click to decide whether to publish it or share it only among members
Plone is a fantastic CMS, but like all tools of this caliber, you end up getting used to it and finding it "normal".
