Eureos is not an IT company. On the web as elsewhere, doing business development is above all about understanding your market, finding or reconnecting with your customers, and closing sales.
For the rest (the technical implementation of websites and extranets), there is Plone:
- Plone is the content management system (CMS) that allows us to spend 80% of our time talking business with our clients rather than producing computer code.
- Plone is a robust and powerful tool that handles the load and has never caused us a single crash in production.
- Plone is one of the safest systems in the world in terms of IT security.
- Plone is an ideal framework for organic search engine optimization without really having to think about it from a technical point of view.
- Plone, finally, is made for those who have no time to waste and are looking for efficiency: that is exactly the profile of our SME clients.
For the record, a manager of an NGO based in Geneva recently told me that, as part of their web or extranet projects, if they chose a tool other than Plone, they had to write a justification memo (for security reasons in particular).
With the new version of Plone (4.0), the development team has once again hit the mark. No revolution in this new release, but a host of improvements: increased speed, a new editor, lower RAM consumption… the list is long. All good reasons to start using Plone 4 right away for our client projects.
