Webmecanik exceeds its targets in 2018 and goes international!

On behalf of the entire Webmecanik team, and as Europe’s first publisher of Open Source marketing automation software solutions in Europe, I am proud to announce an excellent year in 2019. We have just finished above our targets, with revenue increasing by more than 30% and 40 new customers including renowned brands such as Engie, Crédit Agricole, Reed Exhibition and La Poste. The company has confirmed its profitability, enabling major new investments.

“Our rapid growth requires new talent and more powerful infrastructure”

The rapid adoption of Webmecanik as an alternative to expensive and closed marketing automation solutions such as Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce Pardot or Hubspot requires new talent. In the last quarter, Webmecanik recruited Cécile Foucoin to launch the new partner and reseller program coming in 2019, Mathilde Grange for social marketing programs, and Audrey Keller and Titouan Thébaud to manage the growing flow of incoming leads.

To better serve the APAC region, a high-potential market for Webmecanik, we opened our first server cluster in Australia last December. After France, Switzerland and the United States, we continue to invest as close as possible to our customers’ marketing needs and legislative data constraints. Webmecanik is now present on three out of five continents.

To remain at the forefront of global demand for alternative solutions to proprietary software vendors, Webmecanik is working closely with Mautic’s R&D team to seamlessly integrate the Mautic 3 version announced for 2019. Mautic 3 will be an amazing new way to create marketing automation software, based on APIs and microservices. This approach will make Mautic 3 the market leader in marketing automation software in terms of flexibility, compatibility with third-party integrations, and the modernity of web applications. This will make it possible to create new automation strategies and make software designed in the 2000s, such as Eloqua or Marketo, obsolete.

In addition to this highly anticipated announcement, Webmecanik is also entering into a high value-added partnership with the laboratory of the French engineering school InsaValor, thus working on artificial intelligence applied to customer CRMs using anonymized global data. We expect the program to automate marketers’ most tedious steps – scoring strategy and scenario setup for configuring initial campaigns – enabling the rapid deployment of marketing campaigns and immediate return on investment.

“Sharing will be the key word for 2019 at Webmecanik”

The tremendous success achieved by AutomationDay in September 2018, with 200 marketing professionals sharing their experiences and vision of marketing automation, will be repeated in early October 2019 in Lyon, France. We expect around 500 participants from Europe and beyond, world-class speakers, and a brand new “Best Automation Scenario Award” event. Save the date!

International business already represents 15% of our revenue. In order to better serve our customers in all areas and support international growth, Webmecanik is launching a subsidiary program with its local resellers. The first subsidiary in a major European country will be announced in early 2019.

Our statistics prove it: our customers are loyal to Webmecanik. A 98% support satisfaction rate, a churn rate in line with market standards, and one customer in three recommending the solution internally or externally. Because loyalty should be rewarded, we will work tirelessly on an automated and rewarding referral program that will allow our customers to better share their experience with their trusted network.
