The year 2023 was full of new features for our marketing automation software! Between the addition of new features and the enhancement of existing ones, our teams have put together great improvements to make it easier to implement your marketing automation strategies.

Improved database management and better contact segmentation

This year, the features related to managing your database and segmenting your contacts are in the spotlight. In addition, they allow you to segment your database more precisely to further optimize your marketing campaigns.

Custom Object or multi-table data management

Do you have a CRM, an ERP, or an e-commerce site? Go further by creating new custom data tables based on your products or services. Create the tables that will be useful to you (orders, products, etc.) then centralize and enrich your customer data in your marketing automation tool!

The new segmentation filters

Segmentation filters have evolved, giving you the possibility to more easily leverage the behavioral data of your visitors on your website or during a webinar, through new segmentation options. You will be able to adjust your customer journey and thus improve your relationship with your contacts.

Here is an overview of the new filters available: 

  • filter current or past campaign members
  • include contacts who received an email on a specific date
  • filter contacts who interacted with a form or your webinars
  • filter according to the date of the first or last conversion

The tag manager:

Tags allow you, when a contact goes through an event or a campaign, to easily add information to them based on their behavior. Following your feedback, we have simplified the accessibility and visualization of data from tags.
Previously, to see the number of contacts associated with a tag, you had to create a segment. Now you can create and delete tags, view the number of contacts with a specific tag. And as a bonus, you can edit the tag description to add more context.

The new Pipedrive synchronization with Webmecanik Automation

Thanks to a complete overhaul of the Pipedrive synchronization plugin, you can now centralize more of your data more easily, without manual entry or imports.

This synchronization offers you: 

  • Bidirectional synchronization
  • Behavioral data synchronization
  • Contact and company synchronization
  • As well as native and custom field mapping

With this feature, launch effective marketing automation campaigns thanks to the combination of your sales and behavioral data.

Optimization of the landing page interface

Lead capture is often synonymous with creating forms and landing pages. To help you as much as possible in your lead capture strategy, we have enhanced our features to bring you greater ease.

New tool for creating your landing pages

Your landing page creation tool is evolving to offer more flexibility and customization! The landing page builder interface has been redesigned, notably with the addition of an advanced responsive design engine for mobile devices.

New elements are also being added: 

  • the Navbar (navigation menu), 
  • the text section (title + text), 
  • the map
  • the countdown,
  • the quote 

All these elements can now be added to your landing pages, but we will not stop there: your page builder will continue to evolve throughout 2024 for an even better user experience. 

Improvement of your communication channels

From email to SMS to pop-ins, our tool is constantly evolving to bring you ease and time savings in the use of your various communication channels.

Variable preview:

Check your variables before launching your emails and landing pages. The email preview tool will replace all the variables in your email or landing page and dynamically display content adapted to the contact. 

You will no longer have to worry about the final result! 

Email scheduling

Our email send scheduling interface evolved this year to give you more control over your email schedules. You can now:

  • Schedule an email using a new “Schedule” button
  • Continue sending emails to new contacts in a segment even after the originally planned send date
  • Specify a period during which the email will be sent by setting an end date
  • Track your schedules using different statuses (Published, sent, expired, sending)

You can be sure you will never miss the right time to send your emails again.

Sending SMS

And for sending your SMS, we have made some great improvements! The SMS creation and scheduling interface has been redesigned, new small features have been introduced, such as the ability to count the number of characters, and your SMS can now be personalized directly from your contacts’ records.

Now it is time for managing your marketing campaigns! Discover the main changes to help you create high-performing campaigns. 

Automatic A/B testing

Test different versions of your emails and automatically send the best-performing version to the rest of your segment thanks to our performance analysis system.

Nothing could be simpler : beforehand, you will define the test sample and the period during which the test will be carried out. You will then define the winner and the rest of the target audience will receive the winning email. 

Advanced scoring

Now track the progress of your contacts during the different stages of your conversion funnel by setting up point groups, that is, by creating different scoring rules for groups that you have defined. This is particularly useful in a strategy where you want to set up scoring based on different products or your consumers’ interests.

Optimization of marketing performance 

Features for tracking and analyzing marketing performance have been implemented for more effective management of your campaigns.

Lead management

The feature for managing your leads is evolving thanks to a brand-new conversion tracking chart. Track the progress of your prospects to know exactly which stage of your conversion funnel they are in. You can also find out how long they generally take to move to the next stage. 

Lead-staging

Webmecanik and GDPR Compliance: your data is our priority

At Webmecanik, we have been by your side since the introduction of GDPR, ensuring that the use of your data is always compliant. This year, we added three new features to strengthen this compliance.

Recaptcha V3 : you no longer need visitors to perform specific actions in your forms to prove they are not robots.

The alternative to Recaptcha: we have natively integrated two tools, Google reCAPTCHA and Turnstile, which you can use to protect your forms from bots. Your visitors no longer need to perform specific actions to prove their humanity.

2FA authentication: enhanced security with two-factor authentication (2FA). Activate this feature for your entire company, thus ensuring additional protection for all your users.
